Longarm Quilting Services
My goal is to add the final touches to your quilted treasure and enhance your piecing with a complementary quilt design.
I offer longarm quilting services as a basic edge-to-edge design. Edge-to-Edge quilting uses one thread color and the meandering quilt pattern shown above is priced at $0.15 per square inch.
On my BabyLock longarm, the stitches are Free Motion Quilting- meaning that my design is solely controlled by me. I "design and draw" the design onto the fabric: there is no template, or pantograph used. My goal in longarm stitching is not digitized perfection; but a cozy beautiful pattern you can cuddle and love. If you would like an excellent computerized quilter, I can refer you to one.
Consultation
When you bring in your quilt, we can chat and discuss why and what you want quilted, the batting, thread color and time line. Your quilt backing must be 3” larger on all sides that your quilt top and a binding will be needed. Quilts must be ironed before they are dropped off.
How to figure out the approximate price for your quilt. Start with your quilt topdimensions, 80"W x 92"H. Multiply those two numbers. 80 x 92 = 7,360 square inches. Now multiply your answer by the $0.15 price per square inch. 7,360 x .015 = $110.40. (NOTE: Thread, Batting, Binding and Oklahoma tax not included)
